Membership Eligibility

To become a LIAFCU member, you must live on Long Island and be employed by the State of New York. In addition, if you are a member of the Hauppauge Public Library, you are also eligible to join LIAFCU. See the library’s site for more information on library membership. Once you are a LIAFCU member, members of your immediate family and any member of your household are also eligible to join and take advantage of credit union membership and all its benefits.

All you have to do to become a member is open a Savings Account with a $5 minimum deposit – that’s it!
